The cake is covered with real fondant and decorated in exactly the same way with the looks and feel of a real cake; however the inside is made of Styrofoam. Once the photographs are taken and the "cutting the cake" ceremony completed the display cake is taken into the kitchen and the guests are served regular sheet cakes which are provided for cutting.
Hire prices start at £100 with a fully refundable deposit for the safe return of the cake. For a small additional fee, and dependant on the style chosen, it may be possible to personalise the cake with ribbons, topper, flowers etc to co-ordinate with the particular colour scheme on the day. Cutting cakes will be provided for the guests to enjoy and, dependant on the number of portions required, prices start from £60.
